Mission
Rooted in the loving ministry of Jesus as healer, we commit ourselves to serving all persons with special attention to those who are poor and vulnerable. Our Catholic health ministry is dedicated to spiritually-centered, holistic care which sustains and improves the health of individuals and communities. We are advocates for a compassionate and just society through our actions and our words.
Hospice Philosophy
With unwavering commitment, our team honors our patients whenever and wherever with end of life care that respects their choices, cares for their body, mind and spirit, and provides hope through healing for their families and friends through their journey of loss and beyond.
Home care is coordinated with physicians to provide care and services in the home for patients recovering from an acute illness, trauma or surgery. Staff work with patients to promote their wellness and independence, and adjust to meet the changing needs of the patient. Almost any care that is provided in a hospital, physician’s office, clinic or rehabilitation facility is also available for homebound patients.
Hospice care allows terminally ill patients and their families to remain together in the comfort and dignity of their own home. The hospice team of physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, dietitians, social workers, clergy and volunteers are dedicated to providing compassionate medical and emotional care. Reverence strives to provide the best quality of life through expert pain control, symptom management, psycho-social and spiritual support in accordance with the individual patient wishes.
Insurance coverage
Most medical insurance plans cover the cost of home care and hospice services. Services can be billed directly to Medicare, Medicaid, HMO’s, Blue Cross and other commercial insurances.
Volunteer program
Reverence Home Health & Hospice volunteers are compassionate and empathetic people from our community who have come forward with a special desire to help others in need. In many instances, they are people who lost a loved one in a profound and moving way through hospice care.
